Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith, who was nurtured by a family of faith and was supported by his parents. He was the oldest of four children of Elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina who is the mother of the Oyakhilome family who imprinted her faith in God’s grace upon her son from a young age.
