Pastor Chris The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on the 7th of December th, 1963 in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a household that was a faith-based one, and was surrounded by his loving and dedicated parents. He is the oldest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies of God’s Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of Oyakhilome’s Oyakhilome clan, who instilled her faith in God’s grace to her son from the beginning.
Chris Oyakhilome Family The LoveWorld ministry is a joint effort of the family. Reverend Ken is Ken’s brother , and a is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. This ministry houses a variety of gospel artists that are the top-selling worldwide.
Pastor Chris has two children: Carissa Sharon und Charlene. Carissa Sharon is following her father’s tradition of sharing God’s Word to the world. Also known by CSO as a singer, she is a talented, award winning gospel musician and is a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College before winning a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University, known today as Ambrose Ali University, where He earned an BSc in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science award. He is also a doctoral honorary from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Ambrose Ali University was the location where he felt God calling him to become a minister for the Lord.

While he was at university, The Man of God established what would later become one of the biggest churches in the world. He started an informal prayer group called “Youth for Christ” that would eventually become the most well-known organisation of its type on campus. It was also the foundation for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated which has millions of followers all over the globe.
Pastor Chris was the leader of the LoveWorld ministry to become the pioneer of satellite television and Christian production and programming on television. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station to broadcast from Africa to the the world, 24 hours a day, nonstop on free-to-air networks. There are currently LoveWorld television stations on satellite and cable networks throughout the world.
Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria and South Africa. It also has strong representations across the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. Two Healing Schools are situated in South Africa and Canada. There Pastor Chris hosts special sessions throughout the year which allow miraculous healing to occur.
